NORTH HAVEN — Yale New Haven Health celebrated its purchase of Nelson Ambulatory Services and its affiliates at 208 Quinnipiac Ave. at 2:30 p.m. today.
“Knowing the critical nature of our prehospital connections as well as intrahospital work, this has been a missing component of our health system I think for some time,” said Chris O’ Connor, CEO of Yale New Haven Health Services. “Now we can begin to both leverage and enhance what we can offer to our patients.”

Khan shared that his family has been in the healthcare field since 1982 and had purchased Nelson Ambulatory Service in 1999.
“I always had a saying when we were at 500 employees that there wasn’t anything we couldn’t solve or achieve. With Yale behind us, there should never be a question,” he said. |
